Transport Assessments/Statements are required alongside planning applications, where proposals may have an impact on the highway network. CTP have provided high quality Transport Assessments for clients which have successfully been granted planning permission.
CONSTRUCTION LOGISTIC PLAN (CLP)
New developments require the assessment of the proposed movement of construction vehicles, materials and workers to and from application sites. CTP are experienced in providing CLP's alongside Transport Assessments in accordance with local and regional planning policies.

The delivery and servicing needs of new developments must be considered. Delivery and Servicing Plans enable organisations to effectively manage these activities and reduce congestion and conflict on the public highway.

Seeking to decrease single vehicle occupancy and increase active and sustainable modes of travel is a priority at local and national level. CTP provides Travel Plans for all class uses and development proposals, including school travel plans and construction workers travel plans.
The promotion of active transport is vital for improving the environment and health of the population. CTP offers various services relating to cycling such as Cycling Level of Service (CLoS) studies, CERs Audits, cycle lane and facilities design.
Parking is often a contentious issue at the local level. CTP offers a wide range of services relating to parking for residents, local authorities and developers such as parking beat surveys and parking zone reviews.
Works to the public highway and the adoption of new highways require section 278 and section 38 agreements respectively. CTP offers advice to our clients throughout these processes.
